Recommended restaurant near Piazza Maggiore My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. It was quite busy outside, so we decided to eat inside where it was quieter. Our service was excellent. We each started with an aperol spritz and we shared a Caprese which was quite good. For our main course, my wife had chicken in lemon sauce with a salad and I had an excellent pasta with shrimp and asparagus. We each also had a glass of wine. Prices for both food and drinks were very reasonable. We can highly recommend this restaurant and we hope to return again during our stay in Bologna.

Best Dinner in Italy The best dinner we had in Italy over our 2 week trip! Delicious food, attentive and welcoming service, and a delightful setting in the midst of Piazza Maggiore made for an unforgettable experience. Thinking of the Lasagna Bolognese makes my mouth water, it is highly recommended!

Amazing pasta!! We loved this place, it's cute and very kind servers working there. Very accommodating to us and our baby. We ordered pumpkin ravioli with Parmesan cream, the tagliatelle ragu bolognese and tagliatelle black truffle pasta - all were super tasty and yum al dente pasta. The pumpkin was a standout for us though. We also loved the tiramisu. Prices seem very reasonable for such high quality food. Would recommend if you are visiting Bologna and want a great authentic meal.

A wonderful gem right in the centre. We stopped for an aperitif and ended up staying for quite a few! Our waiter was so lovely and attentive - even though we were only drinking and not having a full meal. It's a great lively place right in the centre but providing a moment of calm to replenish and people watch of course! Definitely recommend.

Fanastic staff, very good service performed professionally and with a great personal touch. We visited 3 times and got the best service every time. Highly recommended! We will definitely go here when visiting Bologna again in the future. Many rhanks to the excellent staff!

So, amazing food. Best lasagna ever eaten, asparagus linguine and ragù bolognese linguine! Also, insalada feresca was excelent. Serving food after order was less than 10 minutes, on a Tuesday aroun 18:30. Staff very friendly who can recommend you what to eat (if you ask for) and their english is also very good. 10/10 from me. Bravo!

Leuke tent Vlakbij het Piazza Maggiore, op de hoek van de Via degli Orifici en Via degli Artieri, zit dit gezellige restaurant. Zoals alle horeca in deze buurt ligt er een terras bij. De bediening was vriendelijk en goedlachs. Ik heb er vegetarische bruschette gegeten, die zo lekker was dat ik een 2e portie heb genomen. Aanrader.

I recommend. Very good food. The staff is smiling and friendly, everyone speaks perfect English, the owner is very nice and speaks Polish. Bruschetta very much with fantastic additions and ravioli alla panna delicious.

Awesome place and staff. You are greeted and welcomed by honest and smiley people that speak English very well. Tastes feel like home for a reasonable price. Furthermore, they helped me surprise my girlfriend with a birthday cake. They were really happy and did not charge an extra fee. We loved sharing the celebrations with them. Totally would recommend and I look forward to visiting them again soon.

Hands down the best pasta and best tiramisu I've ever had in my life. I went 2 times because of how good their food is. I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. I'm recommending this restaurant to all my friends who will visit Bologna. Congratulations for doing such a great job!

Went there for dinner as a couple and it was amazing! The service was great and the surroundings were beautiful. We had different pastas/primis to share together with a bottle of proseco. Hands down, the best lasagne in town! Their food is amazing.

Very tasty food, adequate portions, extremely friendly service that serves the dishes with smile and on time. We've been here for both dinner and lunch and enjoyed our time :) Worth coming back for lasagne and aperol!

Surrounded by lively cafés and restaurants that contribute to the ambiance that dining at the Angolo is all about, Gianpierro and his talented staff run a true must-experience place when in Bologna. Outperfoming other places in service and hospitality, me and my group of friends have been treated like true family from our first visit. The menu has a nice variety, and especially the crab tagliatelle treated me well. Notably are their white wines, that also have a pleasant price for a restaurant at such a location. But most remarkable is the kindness of the staff. I was amazed by these hard working people, that smile throughout the evening, even at the busiest moments. Our smiles certainly got wider when Gianpierro gave us two bottles of red wine that were made by his father decades ago. This present that we brought home will forever remain the physical proof of the existence of a restaurant at a corner in Bologna, were rich flavours accompany the riches in life: sharing laughs, making friends and becoming family.

Best place in town! Nice located at the city centre. Service is excellent! And the people very kind. The food is tasty and price well balanced! When visiting Bologna eat at this spot. There is a lot choice on the wine menu and the kitch can advise you at your choice. 10/10 recommend to eat here!
